Once we have opened your FlexAccount, switching your account to Nationwide with our Account Transfer Team makes transferring your account easy.

Option A - Transfer all my payments

1 To get things started fill in and return the Transfer Form.
2 Contact your employer or pension provider to transfer your regular credits such as your salary or pension to your new account, using our Salary and Pension form.
That's it!

Option B - Send me a list to choose from

1 To get things started fill in and return the Transfer Form.
2 Confirm which Direct Debits, standing orders and regular payments you would like transferred to your FlexAccount using the list we send you.
3 Post the list back to us within 14 days in the envelope provided - you do not  need a stamp. If you do not contact us within 14 days of receiving the list of Direct Debits and standing orders, we will transfer them all to your FlexAccount.
4 Contact your employer or pension provider to transfer your regular payments such as your salary or pension to your new account, using our Salary and Pension form.
That's it!

We will:

  • contact your previous bank;
  • let the company you pay Direct Debits to know about your new account details and ask them to change their records;
  • set up your standing orders; and 
  • keep you informed of how your transfer is doing and let you know what you need to do and when.
