60 Day Direct - a 60 day notice account paying variable rates of interest
Our 60 Day Direct account gives you great savings rates along with the convenience of being able to run your account by post. If you give 60 days' notice before making a withdrawal, you won't lose any interest.
The account is run by post, but you can also make online transfers and pay in money by standing order.
- operate your account by first class post (we pay all of the postage costs)
- set up standing orders or transfer money online
- you'll receive a free account guide with all the information you need to run the account
- make withdrawals subject to 60 days' notice or loss of interest on the amount you withdraw
- great savings account rates from Nationwide
- choose to have interest paid into your 60 Day Direct account, your current account, or another Nationwide savings account (excluding Regular Savings)

60 Day Direct is right for you if...
- you want the convenience of running your savings account from home by post and can give 60 days' notice of any withdrawal or lose 60 days' interest
- you're a UK resident aged 18 years or over with a current account into which we can transfer your withdrawals
- you want an account that offers tiered savings account rates so when your balance reaches a new tier you get a higher rate on all of your saved money
- you have at least £100 to open the account
